This banjo is a good economical alternative to the somewhat more expensive banjos with handmade block rims.
The long-neck banjo was invented by Pete Seeger. It is tuned to low E and suits several types of singing voice.
Long-neck banjos can be hard to find, and prices are quite high. Here is a handmade Longneck Banjo at a good price. Savings on expensive hardware and the use of a prefabricated pot keep the price down without compromising sound or playability.
The banjo plays really well and is fitted with railroad spikes. It is easy to retune using a capo.
